Q: What do I do when my air conditioner is not cooling?
A: If your Air Conditioner is not working at all, be sure to check the power source first. Without looking at the unit in person, we recommend people check or change the filter if they haven’t done so in a while, check to see if ice has formed in the unit, and check and clean the outdoor compressor. If both of those are clean we recommend calling a professional to figure out what is wrong.
Q: How often should I change my filter?
A: Every house differs, but it is recommended to change your filter every season (Heating season, Cooling season). Sometimes a filter can need changed even more depending on the type of filter you are using and the traffic in your home.
Q: Do you work on gas and electric furnaces?
A: Yes, we work on both gas and electric furnaces. Most modern furnaces use electricity, natural gas, or propane, and our HVAC specialists are qualified to work on all of these units.
Q: Why did my furnace stop running?
A: We often find that when someone has changed their filter and had to pull the blower door off, they didn’t get it back on properly. They might have shut the power switch to “Furnace Off” and forgot to turn that back on. It is also possible that your pilot light went out. If that’s not the problem, we recommend having a professional look at it.
